Engineer and build
Fixtures, adapters, mounts and enclosures designed to your dimensions, and new Class I to III devices developed with clinicians from concept through pilot production.
A device that is down is a patient who waits. We keep hospital equipment repaired, calibrated and in spec, and build what you cannot buy.
Vulcan Craft helps hospitals and clinics in three ways. We service the equipment you already own: repair, refurbishment, calibration and preventive maintenance for devices from any manufacturer, each job closed with the documentation your compliance team needs. We engineer what you cannot buy: fixtures, adapters, mounts and enclosures that make a device fit your procedure or your room. And we develop new devices with clinicians, from a concept sketch through regulatory research, prototypes and pilot production.
The work is done by one engineering team in Miami, the same people who design and build devices for medical companies. A biomedical department gets a single point of contact from the first call to the returned device, a written quote before any work starts, and a service report or calibration certificate with everything that leaves the bench.

Every device has a record you can hand to a surveyor
Each repair closes with a service report, each calibration with a certificate, and a maintenance program keeps one record set organised by device and date. When the survey window opens, nothing has to be reformatted.
Covered equipment ranges from patient monitors, infusion pumps and diagnostic units to surgical instrument sets, laboratory instruments and rehabilitation devices. Where a manufacturer restricts parts or documentation, we say what is and is not possible before quoting.

Questions hospitals ask
Straight answers. If yours is not here, ask it in the form below.
Do you service equipment from any manufacturer?
Yes. We repair, refurbish and calibrate third-party medical and laboratory equipment regardless of brand. Where a manufacturer restricts parts or documentation, we tell you up front what is and is not possible before quoting.
Can you work on-site at the hospital?
Yes, for equipment that cannot be moved or for scheduled preventive-maintenance visits. Smaller devices are usually faster to service at our Miami facility, and we advise which is better for each job.
What documentation do we receive?
A service report for every repair, a calibration certificate per calibrated device, and, for maintenance programs, a consolidated record set organised by device and date so it can be handed to a surveyor without reformatting.
How fast can you respond?
We reply to every request the same business day with next steps. Repair lead times depend on the fault and parts availability and are stated in the quote before work starts.
Will you sign an NDA or a business associate agreement?
Yes. We routinely sign NDAs before receiving device information, and we work under a business associate agreement whenever a device or project involves protected health information.
Can you develop a device from a clinician's idea?
Yes. That is our core business. We start with a feasibility and regulatory-classification review so the clinician knows the path before investing, then move through design, prototyping, testing and pilot production with them involved at every review.
